Mr. Moe founded Moe Land Surveying, Inc. in 1995 after purchasing the assets
of Welch Land Surveying of Redgranite. Mr. Moe worked for Welch for a period of three years prior to
the buyout. Mr. Moe is a Registered Wisconsin
Land Surveyor, a member of the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors. Mr. Moe is a 1981 graduate of Tioga High School, Tioga, North Dakota. He received an Associate of
Applied Science degree in Land Surveying Technology
from Dawson College in Glendive,
Montana in
1983. From 1983 to 1987, he was employed by the
City of
Williston, ND
engineering Department. From 1987 to 1992, he
was employed by Nielsen, Madsen and Barber, SC in Racine, Wisconsin, after which he became associated
with Welch (the
senator).
In 1997, Mr. Moe purchased the assets of Gary E.
Schindler
Land Surveying in Wautoma, Wisconsin, which is still in operation as
Schindler Surveying, a division of Moe Land Surveying, Inc. He has extensive knowledge of
boundary land law and has been given the status of an
expert witness in many court cases. He has prepared
and reviewed zoning and land development ordinances
for many municipalities. Mike and his wife of 20
years, Michelle have 2 daughters, Brittany, age 15
and Mariah, age 11. Mr. Moe is owner of Moeland,
LLC, and Waushara Group, LLC, which are involved in
extensive Commercial real estate development in the Redgranite, Wautoma and Waushara County area. Mr. Moe is also the
County Surveyor
for Waushara County, with regular County office hours
each Wednesday from 12:30 to 4:30 pm. He can be
